Welcome to The Wellbeing Space’s Co-operative yoga classes! 
These half-priced classes mean that you can still enjoy your favourite discipline, but for less!

In return, feel even better after before-and-after your class, by helping bright, confident and enthusiastic new yoga teachers gain more experience and feel welcomed into the world of yoga teaching.

It’s often difficult for newly-qualified Yoga Teachers (who have successfully completed their 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training) to do the

 

thing they’ve been longing to do – teach, empower and inspire – due to a lack of experience in a yoga studio.

Under TWS’s new Yoga Co-operative scheme, passionate graduate teachers – full of fresh knowledge and a huge amount of enthusiasm – can teach with us, assist other teachers in their classes and get feedback on their own teaching.

They gain invaluable experience, whilst offering you the chance to attend classes for less.

Hatha Co-Op Yoga (Sat: 8.45-9.45am)

Hatha yoga is a generic term that refers to any type of yoga that teaches physical postures. It generally means that you will get a gentle introduction to the basic yoga postures.

You’ll be sure to leave the class feeling longer, looser, and more relaxed.

Vinyasa Co-Op Yoga (Sat: 9.45-10.45am)

The Vinyasa style is an intelligent and calming progression of movement synchronised with your breath. This practice helps to balance the body, strengthen muscular weaknesses and in a frazzled world, help calm the mind.

To end, we will finish with a Yoga Nidra or for ultimate relaxation.

Our Yoga Co-Op Teacher

Hello, I’m Lisa. Why do I love yoga so much? I believe that yoga offers the perfect balance of physical and mental wellbeing, and I love to share mu passion for it with others.
My teaching style is compassionate and supportive; my classes are inclusive to all. Although I may be a newly-qualified yoga teacher, I’ve been working in the yoga, fitness, and health industry for nearly 10 years now (I’m a registered personal trainer).
During the last 3 years, I’ve specialised in working with clients with mental health concerns. This has been immensely rewarding, and I’ve seen first-hand the powerful benefits of yoga both for physical and mental wellbeing!
I successfully completed Sally Parkes’s 200 hour Laxmi Yoga Teacher Training in July (2018), and I’m very excited to share my passion and knowledge for all things yoga and wellness at The Wellbeing Space’s Yoga Co-Operative Classes every Saturday morning.
